About the Project

The Fallin Minewater Thermal Energy Project explores whether renewable heat from water in former mine workings could benefit Fallin Community Garden and the wider community.

The project was initiated in September 2025 by Councillor Alasdair MacPherson as a community learning and feasibility initiative.
